Gallicantu
meaning “dawn” in ancient Sardinian,
is the product of a labour of immense love for the Sardinian countryside.
Give in to the charm of the concentrated essence of Gallura, nestled in the hills not far from the village of Luogosanto. Sit in the shade of The King, the thousand-year-old olive tree that watches over the estate, or climb the spectacular granite megalith that is home to the Gallicantu Crown, where the view stretches across the Aglientu region all the way to Corsica. Each day here holds something new. Some guests spend time exploring the region, while others prefer rest and relaxation by the pool, or on one of the renowned beaches just a few kilometres away.

The rooms and suites at Gallicantu are set within a main stazzo, a farmhouse and a small tower, each space personally curated by the owners. Each of the rooms is unique, and all open onto the kitchen garden, the forest of holm oaks and cork trees, or look out towards the horizon and the sea.

Sitting at the heart of the estate, sheltered by ancient boulders and olive trees, the pool is an invitation to pure relaxation. Generously spaced areas equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas are arranged by the water’s edge, perfect for spending time in absolute tranquillity.

LOCATION

Luogosanto, at the heart of the Gallura region, is just a few kilometres from the attractions of the coast. A village of around 2,000 inhabitants, it is considered a sacred and deeply authentic place, and is the ideal base from which to explore Northern Gallura.
